Entero is engineered to perfection, both for interior and exterior applications. Crafted to add value to spaces and experiences, bringing intensity to lighting schemes. A fusion of power and elegance, comfort and precision. One single range of luminaires to illuminate with power or for atmosphere, from low and high. Discover more about the different features of the range.

LED Engine – The beating heart

Together with the optical compartment, the LED engine is the beating heart of the luminaire. That’s why only the best is good enough to use within the Entero range. Throughout the range advanced Bridgelux LED engines are being used, delivering high performance, maximum efficacy and high-quality illumination. A colour consistency of 1 step MacAdam, Soft Dim and Tunable White are some of the key aspects that make this a strong heart.

Tunable white

Entero is available in a Tunable White version, positively impacting the circadian rhythm of its users. The circadian clock regulates processes such as the melatonin secretion – a hormone responsible for the sleep – and our concentration and level of alertness. The change in the working places towards indoor spaces isolates us from the natural stimulus of sunlight and therefore our circadian clock needs to be stimulated by artificial lighting emulating the daylight cycle. Entero Tunable White is an example of a luminaire that is able to simulate daylight by changing the colour temperature during the day.

Soft Dim

Soft Dim LED technology replicates the dimming behaviour of a conventional lamp where the colour temperature increases in warmth as it is being dimmed. Within the Entero range, Soft Dim is available in multiple beam angles and dims down from 3000K to 1800K. This can be done by conventional phase dimming as well as 1-10V or DALI dimming.

Optical performer, controlled beams

Lens for superspot

To achieve the narrowest beam angle within the Entero range, we enclose the small LED chip in the center of a lens. As such, every light beam coming from the LED is being captured by the lens and guided into the desired direction. The result is a nicely delineated beam angle of 10° with a sharp cut-off, perfect to highlight the smallest objects or to create dramatic sceneries.

Hybrid optics spot - medium - flood

While the superspot version makes use of a lens, Entero uses hybrid optics for the other beam angles. Hybrid as the optical compartment combines a high-efficient reflector with a small dome covering the LED. The dome serves as a mixing chamber to offer an optimal colour consistency, even when using Tunable White and Soft Dim. Next to this, it reduces the spill light to a minimum and makes the yellow LED less visible while maintaining the look and feel of a reflector luminaire. The reflector on the other hand serves to boost the efficiency to a maximum, as its high reflectance surface emits all rays of light coming from the dome in the desired direction. The build-up of the Entero range with hybrid optics allows for an easy interchangeability, the optical compartment can be removed easily and be replaced by another beam angle if needed, completely toolfree.

Reflector for wallwash

Apart from the symmetrical beam angles, Entero also offers an asymmetrical curve for vertical illumination. The Bartenbach reflector inside the Entero wallwash is specifically designed for recessed downlights, creating a uniform effect on vertical surfaces together with some horizontal pathway lighting.

Wallwash

Next to the 4 symmetrical beam angles, Entero also offers wallwash optics for an even illumination of vertical surfaces. Making use of the patented Bartenbach optic, Entero wallwash succeeds in generating a perfectly uniform lit surface with a luminaire that is completely recessed into the ceiling. In the Entero philosophy, the wallwash version comes in different shapes, sizes and installation options, perfect to fit in any lighting project.

Entero Wallwash is optimized for perfect vertical illumination from top to bottom. The specific design of the reflector even allows for bigger distances in between the luminaires, as the light coming out of the luminaire is guided forward and sideward in the best possible way.

Ceiling compatibility

Entero is not only easy to use due to its infinite possibilities, its different installation options make it an easy to use lighting tool for lighting designers and specifiers also. Either with or without additional installation kit, Entero can be installed in several ceiling types as system ceilings, plasterboard ceilings, wooden and concrete ceilings and even stretched ceilings.

Two types of springs serve for installation in either hollow or concrete ceilings. As a standard, Entero Round comes with springs for hollow ceiling, optional a set of springs for concrete ceilings is available.

Entero Connected

Standard, all Entero luminaires come without power supply, offering a range of possibilities in the way of controlling the light. Be it to use in simple switch on-switch off settings, for dimmable sceneries or to manage everything from the Building Management System, solutions are available for both small and bigger installations. This also allows for connected and interacting lighting schemes to be created. Simple residential settings can be controlled wireless with CTRL Delta, while bigger installations have the possibility to use the DALI-2 protocol and let the lights be controlled by sensors and interact with its surroundings. More information on power supplies and its dimming possibilities can be found in the technical chapter of the Entero brochure.

Easy to install: you don’t need any new wiring, switches, devices or networks. Plug in the lighting fixture and pair it with your smartphone or tablet. No other configurations needed.
Easy to use: you can control your lights with an intuitive and visual user interface on your smartphone or tablet.
Easy to enjoy: with a tap on your smartphone you can set the ambience. With the Casambi App you can control your luminaires individual or in groups.

One to combine

Entero can perfectly be used on its own throughout a project, but it can easily be combined with other families of the Delta Light range as well. With Soliscape or Spy for example, as Entero uses the same LED engines and type of optics that are being used in throughout the Spy range or within the Soliscape spot modules. Or use it together with Inform in office settings, where Inform guarantees pleasant desk lighting and Entero backs up for the general lighting in corridors or meeting rooms.
